Dave McCroskey’s life has been marked by extraordinary challenges and extraordinary grace. Born with a tumor growing in the bones of his face and later diagnosed with severe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, Dave has endured more than 30 surgeries, chronic pain, significant physical limitations, and partial blindness.
In 2012, Dave married his college sweetheart, Johanna. Soon after, she was diagnosed with an aggressive sarcoma. During an unexpected pregnancy, the couple faced profound medical pressure and difficult decisions—learning firsthand what it means to trust God when the future feels uncertain.
Today, Dave is a pastor, writer, community leader, and pro-life speaker. He shares his story with humor, honesty, and hope, speaking regularly about faith, perseverance, disability, grief, and the value of every human life.
